INTERNAL ASSESSMENT

  • Theory: I Year – 3 Unit Tests | Semesters – 2 Unit Tests (Average = 20 Marks)
  • Engineering Drawing: 3 Unit Tests (20) + Assignments (20)
  • Practicals / Workshops: 40% sessional marks
  • Practical Exams: Conducted by Internal & External Examiners
MINIMUM PASS MARKS

Practical50% End Exam & 50% Overall
Industrial Training50% Industry + 50% Viva
IMPROVEMENT RULES

  • Allowed only after completion of all subjects
  • Maximum 4 theory subjects
  • No improvement for Practicals / Projects / Industrial Training
  • Must be completed within 5 years
  • Original Marks Memo required
PROMOTION RULES

  • Minimum 75% attendance (10% condonation allowed)
  • Promotion subject to payment of prescribed fee
  • To IV Semester – Max 4 failed I-Year subjects
  • Industrial Training – 90% attendance mandatory
