Students Can Get Admission in Two Ways
1. Direct Entry into I Year
Admissions procedure is governed by the Department of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh, strictly following the rules and regulations prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Admissions into Government Polytechnic, Adoni are based on the ranks obtained in the POLYCET common entrance test conducted every year by DTE / SBTET-AP. The eligible qualification for appearing POLYCET is a pass in SSC or equivalent.
The seats left over, if any, are filled through Spot Admissions at the institute level, duly following all Government norms, notified through a separate notification.
2. Lateral Entry into II Year (III Semester)
- Students who have completed relevant Intermediate Vocational Course (IVC) and passed the Bridge Course as per SBTET-AP norms. Admissions are limited to 10% of sanctioned intake.
- Students who have completed relevant trade in Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and passed the Bridge Course as per SBTET-AP norms. Admissions are limited to 10% of sanctioned intake.
All lateral entry admissions are governed by the Department of Technical Education and Government of Andhra Pradesh regulations.
